A plain summary of the partner agreement and how we handle data. The signed agreement governs, and your counsel gets the full text before the scoping call ends.
The partner agreement covers the licence to operate the platform under your own brand, the wholesale price sheet, the platform floor, and the split of payment spread at settlement. There is no exclusivity clause and no minimum term beyond the initial twelve months.
You are the merchant of record for your subscription relationship with your merchants. Payment processing is provided on Adyen rails under the acquiring agreement disclosed during onboarding.
We process merchant and transaction data as a processor on your instruction. We do not market to your merchants, do not use their data to build a competing merchant-facing product, and do not disclose the platform relationship to them.
Data residency follows the region a partner operates in: United States, United Kingdom, or Gulf Cooperation Council. Exports are available at any time through the API and the console.
Card data never touches partner infrastructure. Payments are tokenized at the terminal or in the hosted payment page, and the platform is assessed against PCI DSS requirements for its scope.
Access to production is role scoped and audited. Partner API keys are issued per environment and per capability, rotate online with an overlap window, and can be revoked instantly from the console.
The platform is licensed for hospitality and retail commerce. Prohibited categories, restricted merchant types and sanctions screening follow the acquiring rules for each region and are enforced during merchant onboarding.
Sub-resellers inherit these terms. You may grant a sub-reseller only capabilities you hold yourself, and you remain responsible for their merchants under your agreement.
